2nd WSAF European Championships 2024

What a great two days of competition we enjoyed at the 2nd WSAF European Aikido Championships in Dublin!

Team Ireland took a total of 52 medals. 20 Gold, 17 Silver, 15 Bronze across all age groups. Every member of Team Ireland showed great sportsmanship, resilance, determination and skill. The hard work in preparation by all players was evident on the day.

Team Ireland was made up of players from - Black Mountain Tomiki Aikido, Katsu Dojo Antrim and Dublin Tomiki Aikido, with 6 Juniors (U10), 13 Youths (U16), 2 Cadets (U19) and 20 Adults.

Huge thanks go to all the officials, referrees, time keepers, mat coordinators and first aiders for making this an amazing event.

Congratulations to all European competitors and supporters that travelled and took part. The future of Sport Aikido in Europe is looking bright.
