DTA Celebrates a new Dan Grade

Just over six years ago Eoghan Conroy asked his uncle Keith if he would teach him some Aikido. After a bit of consideration on the subject plans were put in place and an Aikido class was started for the clubs first ever junior students. 

Last weekend at the Rising Dawn Seminar 2019 Dublin (BAA Spring School Ireland) history was made as Eoghan became our first ever junior student to progress to adult black belt. 

Little did Eoghan know at the time that he had helped Keith make one of the most worthwhile decisions of his aikido life and one that has had a huge impact on the development and success of our club.

Over the course of six years dedicated training, Eoghan has become a UK National, European and World Champion. He has grown his Aikido Skills and knowledge and is a superb role model and inspiration to our younger students.  We are extremely proud of the man that Eoghan has become.
